"Wisdom ReWilding"
10”x10” acrylic multi-media on canvas

Some wisdom words to dwell alongside this icon image:
“A pilgrimage is a journey to a sacred place. Rest is a sacred place. The body is a sacred place. Times is a sacred place. During pilgrimage, things are worked out in the physical and spiritual worlds. You go on a pilgrimage to reclaim your time and body. You go on pilgrimage to be changed.”

We are reminded in St Benedict’s Rule of Life that “always, we begin again”
“May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours”
-John O’Donohue, a selection from the poem “Beannacht / Blessing
